Joint letter with PRiSM to the BMJ regarding an article on Gender Dysphoria in young people
GLADD and our colleagues at PRiSM (Pride in Surgery Forum) wrote and published a joint letter to the BMJ regarding an article published on Gender Dysphoria in young people. The BMJ was offered a chance to reply before we published this letter, but it was made clear by the BMJ that no apology would be made for the article.
After GLADD and PRiSM wrote to the BMJ, Emma Runswick, deputy chair of the BMA Council, published this piece, challenging the BMJ on the article.

GLADD wrote a letter to the BMJ following the High Court ruling on Bell v Tavistock to express concerns regarding the impact of the ruling on trans people's access to healthcare.
Following the High Court's judgement in Bell v. Tavistock, GLADD released this statement outlining our concerns of the impact on the wellbeing of young trans people, access to gender identity services, and the inadequate representation of trans and non-binary people in the decision-making process.
