GLADD Qualified Level membership is £40 per year. Payment is annually by Direct Debit.

How do I sign up?

To join us at GLADD its a simple online two step process using the Registration Menu to the right >>>>>>

1) Complete the online registration form (please use a non-academic email address) 

2) Complete the online Direct Debit form

Once you have signed up on the website here you will be sent an email that will confirm your application please click this link to activate your account.  This does not mean your application to GLADD has been accepted.  Once your Direct Debit has been confirmed our administrator will authorise your online account and you will be sent a final email which will confirm your GLADD membership.  If you have any technical queries about your application please email This email address is being protected from spambots. If you have any questions about the processing of your membership (e.g. if authorisation is delayed or if there appears to be a problem with your direct debit) then please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Payment of your annual fee can be made by cheque however this means considerable more administration and will delay authorisation of your membership. A fee of £15 per year will be added to your membership fee. If you choose this option then please send a cheque made payable to GLADD to GLADD Administrator, 128A Meldon Terrace, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE6 5XQ for the cost of membership (currently £40 plus the £15 administration fee - £55 Total).


Your membership with GLADD is strictly confidential and information provided will only be used for administration purposes. Your personal details and activity within the organisation will not be shared with anyone, including attendance to event socials and conferences.

Applying Offline

We do still accept applications "offline" however we would prefer if you would make applications online as it is easier and more streamline for our administration team.  If however you still would like to apply and post or email your application through to us then please click on the link below. 

Applications offline will take longer to process and you will still need to pay by either Direct Debit (by completing the process above) or by cheque (additional administration fee applies).
