Well we're the second 'D' in GLADD and very much the minority at present, sadly, this seems to be discouraging our dental members from attending meetings-DON'T LET IT!

In the past few years GLADD have organised informal dental dinners and actively engaged the BDA, GDC and BDJ around the support provided for HIV positive dentists.

GLADD is an important organisation with worthwhile aims and a rather fine social calendar-as can be seen elsewhere on the site. It's also a great place to chat and share thoughts and experiences with other gay and lesbian dentists in a safe, supportive environment.

We have a dental representative on the committee which runs GLADD for its members and we are always delighted to received ideas from dental members. You can be assured of a warm welcome.
